US Catholic bloggers chip in

Jeff Miller (The Curt Jester) and Gerald Augustinus (The Cafeteria is Closed) have posted on the recent press coverage in the Guardian and the Daily Mail.

I'm too religious for my school, too religious for my school (Jeff)

You can run but you can't hide. No-one can escape the Catholic Blogosphere!!!

Honest and critical discussion within a world-wide forum on these crucial issues is the way forward.

Catholics and especially Catholic parents really need to wake up to reality. Why are they sending their children to Catholic Schools?

Do you know where your Catholic school stands on moral and religious issues because sure as heck those are the values that will permeate YOUR child's overall education and formation.

If you have any sense of love for your Catholic Faith you must look deeper into what is happening around you and the Catholic Blogs are THE place to get informed instantly on what is going on NOW.

Meanwhile your personal Catholic Formation should be an ongoing process at home with the family, regular Mass attendance, prayer, retreats, recollections, Catholic talks and Catholic reading.

'You parents have one chance and one chance only to get it right', words of James Stenson a great Catholic Educationalist, Speaker and Writer (see his websites and downloadable advice sheets for parents - especially fathers), absolute gems.
