Die Grosse Stille - UK release 29 Dec

Many thanks to Atlantic who gave a link in the combox for Soda Pictures which is releasing Die Grosse Stille in English (UK?) cinemas from 29 December. As Liam Kelly comments, it is unclear just how widespread the "release" will be.

I'm not sure I like the look of some of the other pictures distributed by Soda Pictures. Say a prayer that Die Grosse Stille will lead to the conversion of some hearts at least.

Thanks Father.
Don't know about the U.K. version but according to Amazon.de(Germany) it's available as of Nov 3(my birthday). Looks like a 'fast track' edition; 1 disc, French language, no subtitles.
Who knows when it will arrive here across the pond!

The Italian title is "Il Grande Silenzio". The copy I have carries logos from San Paolo and Metacinema. I paid 19 euros for it in Ancora bookshop and it seems to be widely available in Rome.

You may find it gets to the States before it gets to the UK. Usually, you guys get things before us. I have not seen anything here of Therese in cinema or DVD :-(
