Therefore every scribe who has been trained for the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of his treasure what is new and what is old.
Great news in my inbox today - there is a Catholic Oxford blog which started earlier this month. Apparently it started following discussion at a meeting of the Newman Society - of which I was President in Hilary Term 1979.
Did I hear somewhere that the Society finds itself somehow under the thumb of the Chaplaincy? That Joe Shaw, of all people, cannot address the Society on any topic and not just the liturgy? Sounds pretty rum to me. I was press officer in 1997 or 98, I forget: The decision to have the termly mass in the Old Rite was almost always unanimous.
