Therefore every scribe who has been trained for the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of his treasure what is new and what is old.
I know Carthusians are supposed to be austere in their use of ornamentation, but good grief! That Sanctuary is positively barren! Is it just me, or does that blank space above the Tabernacle positively cry out for a life size Crucifix? Who knows, that's probably what was there in the first place! :::sigh::: At least the majesty of God's architecture (the beautiful scenery) doesn't leave any room for disappointment and ‘what ifs’ :c).
