This coming Wednesday, there will be a prayer vigil outside Parliament at Old Palace Yard (the square opposite the St Stephen’s entrance to the House of Lords) on Wednesday 21st March from 7 to 9pm when the final vote on the Sexual Orientation Regulations will be taken. The Vigil is organised by
Christian Concern for Our Nation. They say:
We pray for a miracle next Wednesday. However, whatever the outcome it is vital that history records Christians standing for truth to the very end of the parliamentary process.
This is my type of ecumenism! I will be there and it would be great to see any readers of this blog.

See you there Fr Tim. I would recommend everyone bring their Rosary. We need our Blessed Mother's intercession.
Our Lady help of Christians - Pray for Us.
Dear Fr Tim, Good luck to you. We will be with you and all who accompany you in spirit and will offer our Mass for you and your intentions on Wednesday morning at 10:00.
May St Michael the Archangel be with you in the hour of battle.
God bless.
Wish i could be there with my family. Will say the Rosary at home, along with you George.
God bless
Many thanks, Dorothy, Barry and Jackie. I was just discussing this with the Carthusians today and we all agreed that at heart, this is part of the cosmic spiritual battle. Prayer is of the essence.
Carthusian Prayer Power! Wow - now we're heading somewhere.
Sorry for the double post Fr Tim but it occurred to me that we should be asking Catholic homosexuals the following:
Are you Catholic first and foremost and struggling with homosexuality or are you homosexual first and a dissenting catholic second.
What side of the line do these people stand on.
It is one of St Benedict's Feast Days on Wednesday 21st. He fought against the rising tide of paganism and heresies in his day too. He will be helping us.
"My child, if you aspire to serve the Lord, prepare yourself for an ordeal." Ecc 2:1
I shall be there tonight!
It shall be the first protest I've been on as a Catholic - I was finally received on 3rd March at St Bede's!!! I want to put up pictures etc about it on my blog but can't even seem to sign in. Fr Tim, thanks for your comment about St Cecilia's by the way - I can't reply to it because as I said, I can't sign into my blog :-(
