This Saturday, the Latn Mass Society is having a Pilgrimage to Oxford, in honour of Oxford's Catholic martyrs. The programme is as follows:11.30am: Solemn High Mass in the Oxford Oratory (Fr Dominic Jacob is celebrant)
2pm: Procession, led by Fr Anton Webb, starting at St Michael's at the
North Gate, marking the route taken from prison to execution by the four
martyrs of 1589 (at the end of Holywell Street), and then back to the Oratory.
3.30pm: Benediction at the Oratory
Here is a link to a report on last year's pilgrimage - there are more pictures there too.

Father, you are attempting to become an "Oxford Martyr" yourself, it would appear!
Some questions intrigue me. How do Bishops react to you? Are they really the "liberal tyranny" that people make them out to be? Deep down do they not appreciate that the Church on this island is sinking fast?
The Bishops are always very pleasant and kind when I meet them. I expect some of them regard me as a bit off the wall but if so, they manage to hide it :-)
I think that I get on well with my own Archbishop and his auxiliaries, especially Bishop Pat who has pastoral care of the area which includes my parish.
I think it is worth emphasising that although I sometimes disagree with the policy of the Bishops' Conference, there is no personal animosity.
Occasionally comments are relayed to me but considering the fairly forthright views I express here and elsewhere, there is nothing that would strike me as particularly surprising.
you didn't answer questions 2 & 3!
Well I do not think they are a liberal tyranny, no. "The Worlock Archive" is the best account of how we got to where we are.
do they not appreciate that the Church on this island is sinking fast?
It seems that they do, given the projects for closing parishes etc. But sometimes this is presented as a "leaner, fitter Church" which I think is nonsense.
I will be going to this Pilgrimage on Saturday.
Will you be attending Father?
(P.S: Update on my blog regarding my vocation)
In Domino,
You regard Clifford Longley as a reliable and impartial recorder of the Worlock-Hume axis?
I started to read chapter 10 (available on the web) and it struck me as total nonsense.
