Therefore every scribe who has been trained for the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of his treasure what is new and what is old.
Great news: Fr Michael Clifton has started a blog. He describes himself as it as "a retired Catholic priest of a traditional mould" and calls the blog Fr Mildew.
I happen to know that the name 'Fr Mildew' is inspired by Victor Meldrew - the star of 'One foot in the grave' - one of Fr Michael's favourite TV characters!
Thank you for the publicity. Have a look at 'Virtual Parishes' on the internet. Why not insert a video camera in your church and publish a Sunday Mass - including your sermon?
To Philip Watson, Sorry I cant remember you personally but John Rizkalla asks if you were in the cross country team at John Fisher. Who else was in your class so i CAN PICTURE YOU BETTER. ?
Dear Fr Clifton Cross country team? Who, me? Not exactly! If you remembered me at all it would probably be as Ralph. You taught me from about 68 to 71, in with such characters as Peter Bond, Paul Agate and Peter Muchlinski. Then I repeated my 3rd year and joined Fr Tim's class for the rest of my time at JFS. All the best Philip

cheers
Philip Watson
Hallo Philip! Yes indeed, it is the very one.
Fr Clifton - welcome! Video camera in the Church. Hmmm. Possibly a bit too much like a goldfish bowl...
