Did the Pro-Life Initiative get the support of the student body at Wonersh - which we were asked to pray about?

Well done Sister Andrea.
First class hons. ?
You must have been swotting.

When I was an undergraduate, many, many years ago, I seemed to spend my time drinking beer, and writing essays at the very last minute.

What next ?
M.A. ? Ph.D. ? D.D. ?

Or have you had enough of academe for the time being ?

Congratulations to Sr Andrea.

It's good to see Maryvale mentioned on the internet. I often feel that the Institute hides its light under the proverbial bushel.

How many know, for example, that it is the only Catholic Institute for Higher Education which awards degress in Catholic Theology at BA and MA level which are validated by a Pontifical University (Maynooth)? Maryvale's faithfulness to magisterial teachings is paramount across its course range and is recognised not only by its students but also by the authorites in Rome.

Although other UK educational bodies with links to the Church also run BA and MA Courses, these are not in Catholic Theology validated by a Catholic body. As such, their adherence to Catholic Magisterial teachings could be questionable. That is not the case with Maryvale.

Moreover, the expertise which Maryvale has in Distance Learning is unique in the Catholic Church and enables many people to study to degree level and beyond in their own homes. This is of huge benefit to the many international, as well as home-grown, students.

Maryvale does indeed confer degrees validated by the Pontifical Institute Maynooth but her other more vocational MAs and BAs (awarded by the OU) which are designed for those who need to be equipped to work in catechesis and Religious Education, are equally excellent in content and faithfullness. Moreover those who choose to follow these degrees do so specifically to work at the coalface, educating others in the fullness of the Catholic faith in the face of outright opposition from the liberal heterodox environment that exists in many of our Catholic schools and parishes. We need your prayers. Please encourage others to come to Maryvale to learn more about the Catholic faith and in turn evangelise and catechise others. Deo gratias for Maryvale.

Oops- forgot to congratulate Sr Andrea! Maryvale does not award 'firsts' lightly- well done Sr Andrea! We breakfasted together on the morning of the final exams- may God continue to bless her in the wonderful work she does in his name.
