I know that many people are going to try to make the journey out to the suburbs for Friday's High Mass. Blackfen is not the easiest place to get to but there are directions on my parish website.
No black cabs out here (the cabbies live here but don't work here!) There is a minicab office at Sidcup Station. Alternatively, one firm I have often used is Avanti Cabs: 020 8850 1100.

Little suggestion ?
If you can't afford a taxi, it might be easier to get a No.51 Bus from opposite Plumstead train station on the plumstead common road ; rather than going to Sidcup ? or a 132 from Eltham train station ? [regular sunday services]
Hey are you poaching Fr? lol
Heheheh... are you on commission??
;-)
OTSOTA - The best bus option is either B13 from New Eltham (stops outside the Church) or 51 from Woolwich (stops 5 minutes walk from the Church.
For the able-bodied, Sidcup is the nearest station to walk from (about 25 minutes if you are fit.)
I went on my scouting mission on Saturday 8th, so as to make sure I knew where I was going before the 14th ~ and it was a good job that I did! I *swear* I remember reading on the TFL journey planner that you get the B13 from outside Tesco @ Footscray!! So, anyway, I stayed on the 321 to the end of the line (Tesco) only to be told that I was way out for Blackfen... yes, the bus driver was *that* precise! :c). So I got the bus back to New Eltham, where Providentially there was a lady I knew who told me to get the 51 ~ the only problem was that she was a little vague on where to get off; So, I'm sat on the bus without a clue as to where I'm actually going, and again, God provided help, this time in the guise of two women. I told them that I wanted to get to Days Lane/Burnt Oak Lane. They had a bit of a discussion about where I should get off depending on which end of the road I wanted, until I mentioned Our Lady of the Rosary Church. One of the women promptly said "I was married in that Church! I'm getting off at the stop you need and I'll point you in the right direction. God is so Good!!
So anyway, if anyone is coming from Eltham, get off the 321 at the stop just past Sidcup Police station (you’ll know it’s coming up when you go by St. Laurence’s Catholic Church); the stop is at the beginning of a parade of shops (which I presume is Sidcup High Street?) The stop for the 51 is on the opposite side of the Road (which is the same side you need to get the 321 back to Eltham). Take the 51 to the Oval. The road for the Church, Burnt Oak Lane, is just back a little way from the bus stop. I know, I've just made that as clear as mud... but at least, thank God, I know where *I'm* going =D huh! Oh, and would you believe that, despite my trek into the unknown regions of wherever, I still wasn't late for Mass in honour of Our Lady!!! :c).
Sorry to hear you had such trouble finding the place. As the Irish would say, I wouldn't start from there. Don't go to Eltham. (But if you do, get the 132 (do not get the 321). The 132 will take you directly to the centre of Blackfen. Get off at "The Woodman" pub.)
But as I said, don't go to Eltham. Get the train to New Eltham (quite a different place). When you comu up out of the station, go to the right towards the traffic lights. Turn right at the lights and go to the bus stop outside the public library (this is only a few yards away). Get the B13 bus from there and ask to get off at the top of Burnt Oak Lane. Then, and as the satnav lady would say "You have reached your destination."
