But heck! He can have a spoon or two if they are short of them over there in the midwest!
Therefore every scribe who has been trained for the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of his treasure what is new and what is old.

But heck! He can have a spoon or two if they are short of them over there in the midwest!

It's not the spoons you need to worry about... count the High Mass sets!
;-D
(Only kidding!!)
YAY! I wish I lived down your way. :-/
Hey, I tagged you for an award.
You got a movie role too.
i wish i lived down south!
Perhaps he'll be here when the announcement comes:
From 'Holy Smoke' by Damian Thompson on the Telegraph blogs:
"What a suffocating closed shop we have running the Church in England and Wales! Fr Finigan, parish priest of Blackfen, Kent, is a traditionalist pastor of great holiness and intellect; he also writes a fantastic blog. That a priest of his quality should not even be made an auxiliary bishop, while box-ticking middle-managers of very limited gifts receive a mitre, is a scandal."
Could we have details of the UK visit please?
Sorry father, any chance you could include in your prayers the repose of the soul of my old bete-noire ;the old Vincentian rector of All Hallows Missionary college [once a seminary- now a trendy institute] Kevin Rafferty C.M. - A great philosopher and academic [if bloody awful rector] the poor man was blind for his last remaining years - a very good man in the wrong job he never desired...
Any possibility he may come to visit Birmingham?
Nefariousness !
I should think not !
In any case, I doubt Fr. Z is short of spoons on the Sabine Farm.
I hope he enjoys his visit to England.
OTSOTA - will remember Fr Rafferty at Mass tomorrow.
Sadie V - itinerary not completly fixed yet but Fr Z is speaking at a Catholic blogfest at Oxford on Saturday 16th Feb if I am not mistaken. He's also going to Rome for about a week while he is in Europe. Any other public events and I'll post them here.
Oliver - not on the plan as yet but I will put it to him.
"Why, Sir, when he leaves our sacristy let us count our amices."
;)
Rumours have it he is visiting Leeds - any one confirm?
