Janet Smith to speak at Westminster

I just received this notice by email. It is annoying to be so busy before Easter - I cannot go to the meeting. But I do heartily recommend going to hear Janet Smith - I have listened to a couple of her lectures on car journeys and I think she is the best speaker I have heard on Humanae Vitae. Here are the details:

An excellent speaker I have heard her on EWTN. Faithful and inspiring. Highly recommended.

Thankyou, Fr Tim, for bringing it to our attention. I'm going. I have just finished her excellent book " Why Humane Vitae was right" and it is quite brilliant. For one of the shortest encyclicals ever written, it sure has had the worst press and the least teaching. I urge anyone who has not read it to do so (It`s free from the Holy See's website and won`t take a lot of printing out). One of the most prophetic documents ever gifted to us by The Church and one of the most under-valued. It is 40 years old this year. Let`s start living it, and transform our nations.
