Interview with monk of Pluscarden

Many thanks to Vocation Station for passing on this video clip of an interview with Fr Giles, a monk of Pluscarden Abbey.

(During the first 21 seconds, the picture is unclear.)

Vocation Station is a blog worth watching - they collect videos on the religious life and the site would e helpful for someone who is discerning a vocation to the consecrated life. I have just added it to the blogroll.

Thank you, Father. Watching it, I tried to remember not knowing Fr. Giles (who never seems to age) and can't. Not having seen him personally for too long now, it's good to 'see' him via your blog.

Pluscarden is so awesome!! I know that's a rather cheesy statement but it's the best way I can express my love of the Abbey! When I'm there I'm so happy I even get up for the 4am prayers. THAT is a huge miracle! Normally Husband and I drag ourselves out of bed at the late hour of 7:30...

I moved here from America and I was shell-shocked! I'm used to Catholic kirks on every street corner pretty much! Now I feel as if Pluscarden has become a spiritual home for me. (That sounds cheesy too. I'm going to quit now...)

God bless you Father! May you have a blessed Lent!
