"The rite that long in darkness pined ..."
Benedict Ambrose, at Tremendous Trifles, has posted a hymn composed by "that most satirical of Scottish orders, the Ninja Carthusians of Achiltibuie." It is sung to the tune "Dundee". I won't post the text here - that would rob Benedict Ambrose of lots of hits. Go over and have a look at the post Cardinal Rules (OK). You'll not be sorry. ;-)

Thanks Fr Tim. That's certainly brightened up my morning - it's raining outside, and I'm trying to finish the decorating etc..., before a long weekend away in Rome with my good lady wife - flying out tomorrow. Yippee!
I will say a prayer (or two) for the Catholic Blogosphere among a million other intentions while in St Peters Basilica. Hmmmmmm, thinks,.... I wonder what St Peter would have done had he had access to the 'net'? Maybe he would have just stuck to the 'gone fishing' blogs!!! LOL!!!
