Louis and Zélie Martin, the parents of St. Thérèse of Lisieux, will be beatified at Alençon on Sunday 19 October. I really wondered if their sanctity would ever be recognized after watching the movie and seeing all of Therese's siblings enter religious life. That must have been some virtuous household.
According to Zenit the beatification will take place in the Cathedral of Lisieux.
