I am happy to pass on this notice from the Lancaster Diocese.
If you have considered or are open to the possibility of serving God in the Priesthood then please come to a day on vocations entitled 'Quo Vadis?'. This will take place at Lancaster Cathedral on Saturday 6th December, 10.30am - 4pm and will provide an opportunity to meet some of our seminarians, to ask questions and to pray together. The minimum age is 17 years and we will do all we can to help you in your discernment of God's will. Be assured that we will respect your freedom absolutely. Interested? Please contact Fr. Manny Gribben on 01946 810324 or email him.
See also the Lancaster Vocations blog.
Of course, if your are in Southwark, you need to look at the Southwark Vocations blog and be in touch with Fr Stephen Langridge ;-)

I pray you will get a good number of takers.
I'd urge all the guys out there who've thought "I wonder if God is calling me..." to go and check it out. AFAIK, God doesn't send reguistered letters along the "greetings" line the US draftees used to get. Fr. Tim's announcement is as much of a writeen announcement as you guys will ever get, so I do hope you'll take him up on it!
And let's all pray for more vocations!
Dear Father Tim
I asked Manny Gribben the following qustion :
Is there an upper age limit for those answering the call to be a priest?
The following response has arrived today:
We welcome all enquiries regarding the priesthood. A lot would
depend upon the person's state of health and their openness to the process
of formation. If you would like to make an enquiry then please contact me
with a little more information. I would need to know the name of your
parish, your age , current marital status, previous experience and
qualifications. I look forward to hearing from you . best wishes and God
bless, Fr. manny gribbenDear Father Gribben
