The Traditional Priests' Support Trust supports Roman Catholic priests, clergy and religious, who are in need, and who are exclusively committed to celebrating the sacred liturgy in the traditional form.
I commend it both to those who may need it and those who may be able to support the charity.

Dear Fr Tim, Whilst I feel uncharitable saying so, this charity seems to have some affiliation with the SSPX. I am not making a judgement as to their worthiness, only I think it should be pointed out that there is an unresolved issue here ... If I am factually wrong here I will gradly retract/delete this comment. Best wishes.
Holy Office - this charity supported two elderly priests who were not part of the SSPX in any way. They were independent priests, who would say mass at SSPX "mass centres" because they asked for their help and/or that was the only place where they could say the traditional mass without being persecuted.
I should point out that one of the priests was still technically incardinated to his former congregation and assisted at the funerals of his brother priests back in London.
I hope that clears any issues up.
I think it should be borne in mind that the SSPX, at least in the UK, has insufficient financial resources to make provision in their old age, sickness, or retirement, for all its priests, and/or those traditional priests who work with it. Therefore, this charity (hopefully) fills a much needed gap.
Hang on,
1) to say these priests 'were not part of the SSPX in any way' whilst in the same breath saying that they 'would say mass at SSPX "mass centres" because they asked for their help and/or that was the only place where they could say the traditional mass without being persecuted' sounds to me like a distinction without a difference. Casuistry even
2) The two priests on the website may not have been officially affiliated to the Society; have they been used precisely because of their ambiguous status?
3) Melodramatic, Ottaviani (how inappropriate that the Holy Office and Ottaviani should be in disagreement), it also sounds melodramatic. I am attached to the EF, and have suffered some prejudice for my attachment, but I don't think 'persecution' is the word. Persecution is what Saint Polycarp faced, and Campion; or Iraqi Christians in our own time. Let's not develop martyr complexes where they're not deserved.
4) Seeing that the SSPX hierarchy seem so evidently to have a schismatic mentality (even if - and I say if) they are not technically in schism, I don't think it's wise to gloss over the fact that this is one of their charities (I'm still assuming this to be the case). Sounding a note of caution in this instance does not preclude giving charitably.
4) I assume my hunch was correct and this is an SSPX charity. If so, why not just say so! And Fr Tim, I think it's up to you to make the case if you are going to advertise the cause!
