Fr Zuhlsdorf is in town and keen to get a blognic going. Can I suggest Friday 24 July at 6pm so that people who are at work in London can get there? One suggestion is the Ha Ha Bar opposite Westminster Cathedral. (The Buckingham Arms might be a bit crowded on a Friday evening after work.) Other suggestions for a good venue in central London are welcome for the next day or so then we'll pin it down.

Somewhere with seats outside for the smokers among us, please.
On the "Marriage" (ha ha) Care story, see this response to Terry Prendergast's comments by Father Aidan Murray.
If only! We smokers are going to have to slum it as usual.
Thanks for the link.
I messaged you on Facebook about a blognic recently, Father, but I don't know if you're using FB anymore. Anyway, I hope to make it this coming Friday. I'm easy about location and timing.
Sorry, Ches - haven't been on FB for a while. Will firm up the blognic.
Can't imagine anywhere in central London that wouldn't be crowded at 6 on a Friday - possibly start a little earlier??
Not sure precisely what a blognic is anyway, but it sounds rather open air ...
I took the liberty of ringing the Buckingham Arms just to ask whether you can reserve tables, and they said yes, you can, free of charge, in a kind of long bit at the side, separated from the rest of the pub (don't quite know what he meant!). Friday gets busy, but they're not booked up yet. Might be worth ringing them and making a reservation: 0207 222 3386.
Personally I recommend the lounges at the Grosvenor Thistle Hotel next to Victoria Station, where we had a good meal and meeting afterwards when I had a meeting of my own bloggers a few months ago. But keep us posted about Friday
As ever, difficult for me to join you from work in Ketering even though I'd love to.
If you were to be staying until say at least 9pm I may be able to whizz into London on the train. Go ahead and organise and I'll see what I can do.
Happy Anniversary Father.
Sorry, I've just realised, it's next week isn't it!
Have left Friday pm free. Look forward to confirmation of place: Delia's suggestion of the Buckingham Arms table reservation sounds better than the Ha Ha.
