I have been remiss in not posting about the curriculum reform consultation by the Qualifications and Curriculum Development Agency. Go to the consultation page for the link to register (you only have to give your name and email address) and they will send you a link to complete the questionnaire. The most important question is whether the Government should make sex education in schools compulsory and remove the right of parents to withdraw their children.
The deadline is 5pm today so if you have a chance, do complete the consultation. Abortion Rights are pushing their people to respond so it wuold be good for pro-lifers to have their say.

Interesting that they have you state your religion. One would think that's not relevant, us being non-discriminating and all.
Not only religion VA but also sexual preference! I took the time to go through and respond to the questionnaire but I'm sure that at the end of the day they'll put my comments in the 'recycle bin'.
Still, it's vitally important to do these things and put forward alternative world views that are counter cultural and pose a challenge to the current 'moral decay and relativism' that constitutes the libertarian dogma of the day spouted at every opportunity by this country's education apparatchik.
We must do more to stand up to them and get them to actually think about what impact their proposed 'reforms' have on children and the future of our society.
