In his post
are you scared?, Diogenes reports that Hans Küng has criticised the Holy Father's generous initiative in offering Personal Ordinariates for Anglicans who wish to be united in full communion with the Holy See as the "unecumencial piracy of priests". Küng says:
The pope’s basic message is: “Traditionalists of all churches, unite under the dome of St. Peter’s!”
Diogenes observes:
Küng seems to think that readers will find that message alarming.

The man's mad!
That man knows as much about Theology as an Orc...
The Pope is being a Pastor - a godd shepherd. Nothing sinister about that; much opinion within the Anglican Communion is that the Mainstream Media is inflating these measures, which are mostly formalising facilities which already exist, into a religious land-grab.
Küng is not only a purveyor of dated drivel, but, in the disparaging references to Pope John Paul II's Polishness that litter his books, he is the authentic voice of the age-old Teutonic racism against the Slavs. Shame on anyone who gives him a platform.
Lol! It seems Hans Kung has never read the scriptures either.
"And Jesus walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea (for they were fishers). And he saith to them: Come ye after me, and I will make you to be fishers of men."
I'm sure the Holy Father won't be too upset at the accusation of fishing.
Hans Kungs idea of ecumenism = perpetual dialogue and maintaining the status quo.
Patricius - that man is an Orc! And as David Lindsay rightly says the guy wheels out the dated drivel whenever and wherever some poor misguided soul offers him a podium.
But there's always HOPE! Prayer Power!
A decade of the Rosary for the intercession of Our Blessed Lady to help this man lose his 'spiritual blindness' and see the light.
