Goodbye to Oscar

Oscar was a very good-natured dog. I am not at my ease normally with dogs but he was so friendly that he overcame my hard-wired anxiety which dates from my early childhood when I was bitten a couple of times by uncontrolled canines.

Sadly Oscar has had to go the way of all flesh. Please pray for his owner to whom he was a good companion.

Oscar was such a handsome little man. Fr. Tim, I own several dachshunds. I wept bitterly when a couple of them died (old age).

I just asked the Lord to help them in this loss. I have two Dachshunds and though they are much trouble, I love them both very much and shall miss them when they are gone.

Goodbye Oscar

Not only were you a good companion to your owner, but you were great support act, who recently acted as the catalyst which put London's beautiful Church architecture debate into focus here on 'The hermeneutic of continuity'.

The late great Toto would have been proud to know you.... Judy Garland - Over the Rainbow, 1939 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QhzbzwPNgXA&feature=related

St Francis Of Assisi pray for us!
