The November-December issue of Faith Magazine is online. The editorial examines the eclipse of authority with reference to the summer riots and the current ecclesial compromise.
Fr Hugh MacKenzie looks at some serious problems with the EdExcel GCSE religion course and its textbook Roman Catholic Christianity.
The Letters page has contributions on the article by Dylan James in the last issue, on contraception and natural family planning.
I have a book review of The Council in Question. A Dialogue with Catholic Traditionalism (Moyra Doorly and Fr Aidan Nichols) together with Liturgical Reflections of a Papal Master of Ceremonies (Mgr Guido Marini.)
There is a lot more good material and I recommend it to you. If you want to subscribe to get a nice shiny printed copy, here is a link to the subscriptions page.

Fr McKenzies article is very welcome and gives voice to my own deep disquiet when one of my children brought this textbook to my attention. I have also noted with interest his suggestion that dioceses introduce integrally Catholic textbooks to schools, and do wonder if he realises the true scale of dissent at a diocesan level. For instance, Northampton appears to promote the idea that practising homosexuals may be encouraged to play a very active role in Church ministeries including administering Holy Communion to the Sick. Please see the article entitled "Am I still welcome here" in this June 2010 edition of the Diocesan newsletter, The Vine
Your quotations from Msgr. Marini was most excellent. Was it one of many? Should I put that book on my Christmas wishlist?
Yes, worth having. It is a small book but very good.
It's on my Christmas wishlist.
Of no concern with this post, so no need to add it to the comments, but have you seen, heard about and/ or commented on the Fr Robert Baron TV series 'Catholicism' and his Word On Fire (wordonfire.org) evangelisation program. It's relevant re. the Bishops desire to work on renewing the Faith in the UK. It's also really very good, direct, profound, beautiful, modern, orthodox and stylish. My wife bought the full box set in the USA and brought it back to Blighty: proper telly.
