Thanks for the hint to this interesting author, I have just ordered "Triumph: the Power and Glory of the Catholic Church" through Kindle and if it wasn't past midnight would start reading it now. I am also an admirer of the British Empire, so this one might follow...
Ah yes, the "PIG" series. I downloaded Prof. Anthony Esolen's "Politically Incorrect Guide to "Western Civilisation" on my Kindle. Polemical? Oh yes, but polite in style. I enjoyed it. And the formatting came out perfectly - I even got the full front cover (which certainly hasn't always been my experience with Kindle).
