Just a few minutes in front of a working computer before I have to go and get on the aeroplane so I thought I would quickly repost the graphic that has resulted in the ludicrous investigation of Cranmer by the Advertising Standards Authority. I am glad that there is at least an update to the story that I can post now that His Grace has
responded to the ASA. I'll have to read the full response later but it does look fun.

No. I am Spartacus.
(Apologies. But it's irresistible!)
Nobly done, Father, and love the reference. I hope others may take your cue.
I'm Spartacus!
The ASA has form. It is not a statutory body, but a self-selected body established by the media industry to police advertisements for accuracy etc. It has extended this role, seeking to impose censorship over a wide range of material, including publicity put out by campaigning organisations such as pro-life groups. Its criteria seem to be very much in line with the liberal-fascist agenda of the Frankfurt School.
However, I suspect they have over-reached themselves this time, what with even the National Secular Society supporting the old heretic.
This is so beautiful and I put that scene from Spartacus on my blog ages ago. Yes, we all need to stand up, especially since our judas, the so-called leader of the free world, Obama, has undermined Truth, yet again.
God help us all.
Preposterous, but a very amusing response from His Grace! That said, I don't think it's a good ad - a rather spectacular own goal, I'd have thought. It emphasizes the very things – 'the wedding', smiley, happy faces and commitment – that the equality people are after. It doesn't convey anything about the distinctive nature of marriage itself. Where are the children?
