Talks by Janet Smith

Thanks to Redtabby in the combox for posting a link to audio files and CDs of talks by Janet Smith . You can buy them individually or pay $24.49 for the collection of 12 mp3s.

Talk at St Andrews

Liam has kindly advised me that the talk I gave at St Andrews University "A response to Richard Dawkins" is now available for download as an mp3 file at the Canmore (Catholic Society) podcasts page .

SSJC audio files of Mass texts

St John Cantius in Chicago have a fine collection of resources to help priests who wish to learn the older form of the Roman Rite. Their latest offering is to give the texts of the Mass with mp3 audio recordings .

FSSP sermon series

Another great replacement for the car radio on long journeys - the Catholic Sermons Series 2007 from the priests of the Fraternity of St Peter serving the St. Philippine Duchesne Latin Mass Community. The list includes some meaty talks on the four last things during a mission given by Fr Issac Relyea of "Keep the Faith". All downloadable as mp3 files.

Pro Ecclesia downloads

Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice has now uploaded a number of talks by Catholic speakers including Archbishop Fulton Sheen, Fr Hugh Thwaites and Daphne McLeod. They are available as free downloads. Especially useful if you drive a lot and need something other than mindless radio to listen to. See the talks page at Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice

"Keep the Faith" audio downloads

Keep the Faith Catholic Audio Downloads makes available talks by Archbishop Fulton Sheen, Michael Davies, Alice von Hildebrand and others. The cost is $1 per file for download. They have free Resources for Priests and Seminarians , including a free download account so you don't even have to pay the $1 per file. I was just emailed the activation of my account and have downloaded a few talks to keep on my mp3 player for the next car journey. With the number of files they have, it is going to be a long time before I am reduced to listening to my car radio again. They also offer free gifts for priests and seminarians, viz . 1. A free sub to Latin Mass Magazine and 2. A free DVD with two films: the instructional video "The most beautiful thing this side of heaven" and the High Mass narrated by Fulton Sheen which I blogged here a while back. In return for their generosity to priests, I am very happy to promote their service here.
