Follow-up on creative liturgy

There has been some comment on my post on Why avoid creative liturgy? Paulinus has a particularly moving Rocky Horror Creative Liturgy complete with Gathering Song and Recessional Hymn suitably composed for the occasion.

As he includes a liturgy of picking stones (nice IKEA ones) out and putting them on the altar, I must relate a story told me years ago by Fr Mark Drew. As a young student, he was subjected to such a "liturgy" where each person was asked to pick out a stone and say why it was like them. When it was his turn, he grumpily snatched the nearest stone and said "This stone is like me because it can't see the bl***y point of this exercise."
