Southwark parishes

I used to be responsible for the website of the Archdiocese of Southwark. I was quite pleased with the design and the fact that the html was tightly written. However I was quite hopeless at keeping it updated and the one thing that everyone really wanted as a directory of parishes - obviously.

Looking at the website the other day, I found that a Parish Directory this has now been provided on the website by the new team - and very good looking it is too.

The eternal truths and the threefold remorse of the damned

Last week, Agenzia Fides, the news service of Propaganda Fide, ran an interview with Archbishop Ranjith (Italian). I mentioned this on Saturday but did not read the interview carefully enough and missed a significant point. Looking at my blog feeds the other day, I saw that Andrea Tornielli , and Luigi Accattoli picked up his reference to communion in the hand. Here is my translation of the relevant section: Let us distinguish carefully. The post-conciliar reform was not entirely negative; on the contrary, there are many positive aspects in what has been realised.
