Abortion provider admits contraception doesn't stop pregnancy

The truth that contraception does not reliably prevent pregnancy has been known to pro-lifers for a long time. Groups such as the Good Counsel Network and the Sisters of the Gospel of Life will tell you that most of the women that come for help in a crisis pregnancy have been using one or more forms of contraception. (Midwives I have spoken to also affirm that a significant proportion of the women whom they help in giving birth have also been using contraceptives.)

It is nevertheless interesting to see that Marie Stopes International is now willing to admit this truth: British Abortion Business Admits Birth Control Doesn't Prevent Pregnancy. Of course, their answer is to call for more education about birth control. (That is, the birth control that they admit is not actually stopping pregnancy.)
