PS I have just sent this email to Seb Salom regarding the EDL Flagpole 90 Oaklands Avenue, Blackfen :

Can anybody just put a large flagpole in their front garden without planning permission?
The reason I ask is that I noticed when I was visiting my family in Harborough Avenue, that the occupier of 90 Oaklands Avenue, Blackfen has done just that, and he has added a St George's flag that has the words 'English Defence League', 'Support our Troops', and 'Millwall' on it.
Well as a Millwall supporter myself, who also played for Charlton Athletic I don't think this hateful warmongers artwork is acceptable as we approach London's MORE THAN GOLD 2012 OLYMPIC CITY CHALLENGE, and the European Football Championships in Ukraine and Poland.
