Deacon Fitzpatrick is, indeed, an excellent speaker and I assure him of my prayers and good wishes.

As you say, the usual horrid comments. How is it possible to communicate with people who have such monumental/wilful ignorance about faith? I have (very dear) atheist friends with whom I steer clear of conversations about God or religion because it's as if I can see in a colour which they don't recognise.Rather wimpish, I know but after 30 years.... what's a warbler to do?
