I just received news that on the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, the Irish Dominicans celebrated the reception of thirteen new novices at Saint Mary's in Popes Quay, Cork. This is excellent news - congratulations to the Irish Dominicans.
See the post at the Irish Dominican Vocations blog: Reception of Novices. Saint Mary's Priory, Cork. There was also a solemn profession in Dublin the day before, and two simple professions in Limerick the day after.

a fantastic post and excellent news ~@ such a sign of hope.
Are these effectively England's version of the US's two fast-growing Dominican groups?
Wonderful news! I wonder if the younger generation of Dominicans will recover the 'habit' of wearing albs when they celebrate/concelebrate at Mass, or perform other liturgical functions, rather than simply placing their stoles over their habit. They would then be conforming to Redemptionem Sacramentum. They might even restore the cincture (and chasuble when concelebrating)!
But great news, great sign of hope and growth for the Irish Church.
Err. Hidden One, that would be "Ireland's version" :-0
But the English Dominicans are thriving too.
Regarding Dominicans and the alb: we are most certainly recovering it!
Great! And congratulations Brother Lawrence on your Solemn Profession.
