Pro-Lifer shot dead

James Pouillon, 63, was known as "just a nice, elderly gentleman who was disabled, used an oxygen tank and wore leg braces." He was shot and killed today as he was engaged in his customary peaceful pro-life protest across the street from Owosso High School.

Pouillon is on record condemning violence against abortionists. His protests were considered confrontational by some. Here is the news story on ABC local:

In England, of course, the link between the abortion issue and violence is widely reported and debated. So here is the latest news on today's killing from the BBC website (click to enlarge):

And of course I followed the link (or didn't) until the point finally struck home!

Given the poor soul's disabilities I'm sure the MSM (if and when they get around to covering it) will portray him as an eccentric, typical of those anti-progressive elements who are using up valuable health care resources and really ought to... well, you know... "be taken care of" (i.e. euthanised). Someone appears to have pre-empted that.

"I have run the race, I have fought the good fight".

Requiescat in pace. And forgiveness for his murderer.

Well, one can always hope. Whenever Christians are martyred, conversions happen. I have seen news stories in the US with very interesting debates in the comments sections, even if they do take place in between (or because of) the usual venomous comments against prolifers.

One should say 'Shame on you BBC!', but they have no shame for their anti Christian bias. Another recent example was their TV news report on the 'Stop the Islamification of Europe' in Harrow last week. It said a small group protested o/s mosque; all other reports said over 1000 protested. The BBC world radio service, in its report on the anniversary of the tragic Besin school massacre said, despicably, relatives had turned 'to drink or religion for consolation'. It takes a really warped person to make that comment on these parents' tragic loss of 100s of children. No shortage of these in the BBC.
May the pro lifer's soul rest in peace and receive the reward of the just.
