Therefore every scribe who has been trained for the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of his treasure what is new and what is old.
God bless America!Oh dear, Father! You won't make yourself very popular with the justice'n'peace mob.I like the sentiment, though.
Thank you, Father.I have modestly proposed to dear Mac that you folks start some sort of "Thanksgiving" yourselves, wherein you would thumb your noses at the increasingly secular government and get together one day a year to share a nice meal and publicly proclaim that God has been good to us all. That'll REALLY tick some people off.And like I told Mac, it's a good excuse to get together with loved ones.:)
Yeah, but they're not in his reading public. Those of us on the left side of the pond are. :-D
Thank you, Father. OK if your sentiments aren't popular with the secular powers; the most authentically celebrated Thanksgivings aren't popular with the secularists, either. It tends to be "Thanks for all I HAVE DONE", not "Thanks be to God for all HE has done!" I love our country, but unfortunately, ther are many imbicels running around condemning God over here. I can't wait until they blindly hit the wall so the rest of the world can worship in peace.
