The Oratory School in South Oxfordshire was founded by Cardinal Newman. Nine years ago, the school chaplain, Fr Anthony Conlon, revived the Blessed Sacrament Procession. This year on 10 June, the Octave Day of Corpus Christi, he carried the Blessed Sacrament in Procession in the school grounds, assisted by Fr Irwin as Deacon.
The canopy was carried by the House Captains of the school. The Procession was given a Guard of Honour by the Combined Cadet Force (CCF) of the school (which recently had its biennial inspection.) The Ceremony was competently assisted by the many servers who have been trained by Fr Conlon.

Fabulous post!
How splendid !
The Oratorians show once again how to do it. I wish there were more religious orders (and more priests in general) with their zeal and love for Truth.
In England there's too much talking about the environment, social justice and "inclusiveness", but not enough about Catholic values.
The day many priests start being priests again insted of trying to be bad imitations of social workers and environmental activists, things will start to improve.
Reverend and Dear Father
I must admit, this is a truly wonderful post. I only hope that we see the restoration of our Faith in Catholic schools worldwide.
Again, dear Father, please remeber us South Africans at the Altar and wishing you Gods richest blessings on yourself and your work.

I worked at this school last year as a gap student. Fr. Conlon is a fine priest with a passion for orthodox Catholic teaching and he demands a beautiful liturgy. Catholic schools around the world need more like him.
