Worrying news on Holy Father's visit

Breaking out on Twitter tonight is the news of some grave concerns about the visit of the Holy Father to Britain. Damian Thompson has a piece in tomorrow's Speccie looking at how the visit is " being caught up in a Blairite publicity stunt bearing the fingerprints of the Tony Blair Faith Foundation". You can read a preview piece on Damian's blog: Pope's visit: chaos behind the scenes as Church's costs 'double to £14 million'

No time to look more closely tonight as I'm off to the Torchlight Rosary Procession. But I think several of us will be looking at Google Android phones (or the inferior iPhone ;-) for news from the Spectator tomorrow.
