Dilemmas
I write a column for the Catholic Herald each week called "Catholic Dilemmas". It is generally a serious piece so I tend to resist suggestions such as "How can the Ferraiola contribute to the new evangelisation?" The other day at Toulouse Blagnac airport, we were faced with another frivolous dilemma. What should you buy for your MC to drink when he is a real ale expert and there is nothing of the sort available? I got cans of Heineken and Kronenbourg but also a can of "Desperado" which summed up the situation. Desperado is lager with a tequila flavouring - which at least covers up the taste of the lager. Nevertheless, he chose the Kronenbourg.

Was this not the same man who who coined the phrase Novus Ordo Eurofizz?
Shocking to see him falter on the convictions!
Yes: desperate measures indeed.
