
In the photo above, you can see that the windows of the Papal Apartment are closed and shuttered. While the Holy Father was away in America, Fr Charles and I went to the
Casa Santa Maria. Here is a photo of their very fine baroque chapel:

There is a plaque listing the American Bishops who have been consecrated in the chapel itself:

There is a side chapel dedicated to Our Lady of Guadalupe with an image dating back to the 16th century:

The house also has a Byzantine chapel: here you can see the altar and tabernacle:

That looks like a very beautiful place Father but what possessed them to put that dining table in the chapel?
How very nice to see a picture of Fr. Martin Edwards, who I hope is enjoying his sojourn in Rome.
