Therefore every scribe who has been trained for the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of his treasure what is new and what is old.
"Glory to God in honour of St Ralph Sherwin" by Jeff Ostrowski.
Score for organist, score in Gregorian or modern notation for vocalist, and various videos are all available free of charge at the Corpus Christi Watershed Glory to God page.
Interesting, dear Father, you should highlight this setting. Of the three offered for our perusal on NLM, and the many others available HERE, I had also selected this as far the best, it is solemn yet cheerful, and eminently singable.
For a lover of Latin, and a traditionalist, this almost makes the new (corrected) translations seriously exciting to anticipate!
I think it is quite beautiful. If the solemnity, simplicity and beauty of this is anything to go by I look forward to seeing the whole thing in full swing.
If they would publish this setting with music for the guitar I think we would likely see this becoming the preeminent Gloria setting after the new translation comes into effect. While the guitar is not preferable, if the chant has both options we could have music that unites different parishes that have different types of music.

It's tuneless.

That is beautiful.
