Therefore every scribe who has been trained for the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of his treasure what is new and what is old.
[UPDATE] As you can see, the video has now been removed because of a copyright claim. There are many Laurel and Hardy clips posted on YouTube that don't seem to have had any problems. Funny that!
[UPDATE 2] Thanks to a commenter for pointing me to another upload ;-)
This humorous video clip really shows how ridiculous it would have seemed for someone to marry a person of the opposite gender. You can be lovable to just about anyone. However, a valid engagement can only take place between two people of opposite sexes. Therefore, selecting this old slide was an excellent idea although some people are too set in their ways to take it into consideration.
I just heard on RTE Radio in 'It says in the papers' that an RTE newsreader was 'married' in Dublin yesterday to his male partner of 26years. We now have civil partnerships between two persons of the same sex in the Irish Republic but no 'marriage'. A year or two ago when a well-known singer died at least three writers in the Irish Independent made references to his 'husband'. The corruption of language to corrupt our minds.

Yep, I ALWAYS look to Laurel & Hardy for advice on what's right and wrong. I always wonder "what would Laurel & Hardy do??"
