Transformation of a Church

A couple of years ago, there was a popular YouTube video of the transformation of an altar: La métamorphose d'un autel. Many thanks to NLM for this video of the transformation of the Church of St Ann in Charlotte, in North Carolina which might be called La Metamorphose d'une Église

A certain commenter on this blog has promised that if he wins the National Lottery, he will fund the construction of a new church in Blackfen for which I will attempt to acquire the status of a minor basilica.

Dear Father Finigan

If Monsignor James Horan can build an airport at Knock I am sure you can build a Church in Blackfen without the help of the National Lottery.

Our Lady of the Rosary pray for us!

When the Italians came to America, the Father would be the primary bread winner, and the children, aunts, uncles, and so on would work to earn money to build churches.

As a result, many poor Italians are responsible for some of the most beautiful churches, worthy of the Blessed Sacrament, in America.

They have taught us building Churches and Catholic communities requires personal sacrifice.

God bless the Italians.

They have certainly made a cracking job of this church - bravo!

If only we could do the same - there are so many depressingly awful Catholic churches in the UK.

Top tip to the travelling Catholic who wants to know where he can find the nearest Mass - look for the church which most resembles a public library/public convenience/underground car park and there's a good chance it will be the Catholic one!

Dear Father Finigan

I have sent John Berylson, the American Chairman of Millwall Holdings plc the following e-mail so that your "Transformation of a Church" dream is at the heart of South East London's FARE REGENERATION plans:

Dear John Berylson

Thank you once again for giving me your e-mail address after the Millwall Holdings plc AGM last Friday.

On Monday 14th December 2009, I sent your CEO Andy Ambler at Millwall a critical FOOTBALL AGAINST RACISM IN EUROPE (FARE) City Challenge e-mail, relating to the REGENERATION OF LONDON, before this Saturday's crucial local derby at the Valley between Charlton Athletic and Millwall.

It would appear that Mr Ambler is not interested in my KICK IT OUT defence case against the BNP here in England as he has completely ignored my request to date i.e.... 'Please could you confirm receipt of this e-mail'.

Yesterday my friend Darren Johnson apologised to the London Assembly for getting an unlicensed cab, as reported in Tuesday's edition of SLP. I'm sure that you will agree there are far worse mistakes and crimes.

The only Assembly Member to call for the resignation of Darren Johnson, who is Chair of the London Assembly, at yesterday's Assembly meeting was the BNP member, Richard Barnbrook.

After last weeks AGM I recommended that you check out Father Finigan's blog The hermeneutic of continuity , so as to link you, and Millwall Holdings plc to the spiritual side of my own personal City Challenge development 1956-2009. The A Deo et Rege - Alma Mater comment...."If Monsignor James Horan can build an airport at Knock I am sure Father Finigan can build a Church in Blackfen without the help of the National Lottery"...is my latest contribution, and you will see from from the original post "Transformation of a Church" that Father Finigan has regeneration plans of his own.

At the next General Election former Met Police Inspector Michael Barnbrook, the malevolent neo-Nazi BNP Police Spokesman, will be standing as a candidate for MP in Our Lady of the Rosary's Parish, Blackfen, which is in the late Sir Edward Heath's Old Bexley & Sidcup constituency. Nick Griffin MEP, the BNP's leader will be standing as a candidate for MP in the Barking & Dagenham constituency here in London at the next General Election.

Our Lady of the Rosary pray for us in BNP leader Nick Griffin MEP's EU/GLA/LDA/ODA NEO-NAZI DEVELOPMENT TIMES Amen

Yours sincerely
