Ava is one month old and has contracted meningitis. Her father has asked me to pray for her. I am remembering her in the memento at Mass and will celebrate Mass for her on Monday. Ava's father was happy for me to request prayers here.
So please - Rosaries, Masses, Novenas, Divine Mercy chaplet, Holy Communions ... If you are not able to do anything else, please take a moment right now to say a Hail Mary.

I and my children will pray for her tonight. I survived meningitis myself, at not much older than Ava. In fact the meningitis saved my life, but that's another story.

My daugther (8 years now) contracted it not 10 days old. It was a trying time for family and friends (and life changing, btw.) Divine Providence has allowed that she overcame it without meaningful sequels nowadays. Perinatal Meningitis does not necessarily has to have a bad prognose.
To Ava's family -from personal experience- don't despair !!! Be realist; get ready for any outcome; be prepared for a long time of worries; but never give up Hope. Keep the trust on medical professionals (as my wife used to say, they're the Hands of God), and try to stay calm, and (if my experience is of any use) keep as much usual dayly routine as possible
