Rosary Crusade photos

By all accounts, the 24th annual Rosary Crusade of Reparation was a great success again this year. This year, the procession fell on the 90th anniversary of the great miracle of the sun at Fatima on 13 October 1917.

See the Rosary Crusade section of traditionalcatholic.org.uk for photographs of the procession. There is a small selection below:

(John Medlin recently upbraided me for mentioning several events organised by the Latin Mass Society without mentioning the Latin Mass Society itself or giving it a link. So let me put that right by mentioning here that although the Rosary Crusade is not a Latin Mass Society event, members of the Society do feature prominently among the organisers and those attending.)

The procession led by the Knights of Malta (including Julian Chadwick, Chairman of the Latin Mass Society) and the clergy. [That's enough LMS links - ED]

Is that policeman deliberately using papal chasuble colours on his motorbike, for the occasion? or did he accidentally drive thru' a washing line with a certain duvet cover on it, prior to the event !!!
Looks like it was a fantastic occasion, wish I'd been able to make it.

What a beautiful procession. I had never heard of the Rosary Crusade of Reparation but this blog has certainly opened up my eyes to it.

Many thanks, Father for this post.

Once again, the splendid photos of Vernon Quaintance have recorded a very special event, especially important to those of us who could not be there.

I thought some of the police looked slightly bemused to find themselves included in the photos.

(The Latin Mass society can't say they didn't get a mention in your post.
I think I counted 6 links !)

A very lovely Catholic event, and I'm sure Our Lady was pleased.

I know it's the wrong time in the liturgical year, but I still want to say :
Regina caeli, laetare.

Interesting. The average gobby Trotskyite/Islamist antiwar event would get acres of space in papers/on TV for a similar event of this size central London. Not a word from the MSM. Doesn't fit the zeitgeist, I suppose (too much Heiligengeist for the MSM)

It was indeed once again a beautiful event for Our Blessed Mother to take over London streets, a wonderful witness. Thanks again to the Oratory Fathers for their wonderful support; what a contrast with the sad people in the house behind the Cathedral, who hiding behind their curtains lacked the courtesy to even come out to to greet the Mother of the Church.

Another successful Rosary Crusade. Great joy to have Our Lady's statue lead the procession through Knightsbridge. A perfect day culminating in Benediction at the Oratory.
