First Communion at Ssma Trinità dei Pellegrini
My good friends Marko and Pilvi in Helsinki have posted photographs of the first communion of their daughter, Beatamaria, at High Mass in Rome today on the feast of St Peter and St Paul at the Church of Santissima Trinità dei Pellegrini, the Church of the FSSP.
Here you can see Fr Brendan Gerard who was Deacon at the Mass and the dignified prie-Dieu that was decorated for the first Communion:
And here is a lovely family photo with Fr Kramer:

What a beautiful photo. A 'frozen moment' in time that will be treasured by the family for always.
The photo speaks volumes about love and reverence for Our Blessed Lord TRUELY present in the Holy Eucharist.
Congratulations to Beatamaria and her family. Would that ALL Catholic children could be instructed and catechised in this way for their first Holy Communion.
Now imagine the photo with the child standing and receiving Our Blessed Lord in 'the hand' - the reverence of that precious moment would be gone!
