
Each year, the deaneries of Bexley and Greenwich have a Blessed Sacrament Procession at the ruins of the Lesnes Abbey at Abbey Wood. Today, Bishop Pat Lynch carried the Blessed Sacrament, assisted by Rev Michael Baldry, a permanent Deacon from Blackfen parish.
There seemed to be more people than ever this year, on a gloriously sunny afternoon. This photo shows just a small part of the procession:
