I agree with Tom Peters' assessment of the quotes from L'Osservatore Romano which are included in a Zenit report of an article about Michael Jackson in Friday's daily edition, especially on the duty that we have to pray for the repose of his soul. In the meantime, this reminds me to make a memento for him at Mass this evening.

I've been praying the Chaplet of Divine Mercy for him. I try to stay away from the media coverage and just pray for his soul. I pray he finds the peace in death that he never knew in life, and that God's mercy ultimately brings him the abundance of life he seemed to never know here on earth.
