Silver Jubilee

I was ordained on 28 July 1984 and therefore this year I celebrate my silver jubilee.

There will be a Solemn High Votive Mass of the Holy Ghost (usus antiquior) on Tuesday 28 July at 7pm at Our Lady of the Rosary Blackfen, followed by a reception in the Church Hall. All blog readers are warmly invited. If you intend to come, please could you drop an email to ordination.jubilee@gmail.com so that my people can get an idea of numbers for the catering. Clergy and religious are invited to attend in choir (cassock and cotta or religious habit.)

There will also be a celebration on Saturday 25 July with English Mass in the newer form at 6pm followed by a reception in the Church Hall. You are also warmly welcome at this event. Clergy and religious are welcome to concelebrate or attend in choir.

See this link for details of how to get to Blackfen with annotated google maps.

Some friends are hiring a traditional red "Routemaster" London bus (pre-1962) to travel from central London and I will give details of this as soon as they are available.
