iPad for Choir Directors
Clare, the Choir Director at St Mary Magdalen's Brighton, has a post about Catholic uses of the iPad 2 as a Choir Director. I was especially struck by the practicality of using it during the darker part of the Easter vigil, and for gently given pitching notes without having to use a tuning fork or go back to the organ. Her post has dented my obstinacy in refusing to go for anything proprietary. Let's see how the Easter offering goes ...

That's a really good idea. You can have all your music in one place instead of always moving papers around.
Father,
I am struck about the differences between the US and UK churches in this regard after reading this post and one recently by Fr. Blake. Here in the US there is no Easter and Christmas offering for the priests. They just get a salary from the parish. I wonder which way is more common in the universal church.
Hello Father,

I wonder when someone is going to come up with an Altar Missal app for an Altar ipod?
