Congregation for Clergy proposes Eucharistic Adoration for vocations

Thanks again to Rorate Caeli for this news of a letter from Cardinal Hummes, prefectof the Congregation for the Clergy, to the Bishops of the world proposing Eucharistic Adoration to pray for priestly vocations. The links to explanatory materials are there. The suggestion is to set up particular places of Eucharistic adoration, either round the clock or from morning until night if that is not practical.

Fr Stephen Langridge, the Vocations Director for the Archdiocese of Southwark, could feel justly proud on seeing this because for some years he has promoted Eucharistic adoration to pray for vocations.
