Actually, writing a blog does seem a little like putting out into the deep, as I have no idea if anyone will read itI felt exactly the same back in April 2006 - all I can say is "Write from the heart, and keep on writing." We can all benefit from the insights of a Mother of eight. If Christian civilisation is going to survive the secularist onslaught it will be thanks to good families.
Therefore every scribe who has been trained for the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of his treasure what is new and what is old.

Dear Fr., Thank you so much for your encouragement.Your own excellent blog has been a source of hope and inspiration, as well as catechesis for me, long may it continue!
Good/Holy Priests=good,holy families.
A few other tips for Kate (and other aspiring bloggers) (based on my vast (?!) experience:
Install sitemeter, so you can see how many people do actually look at it: I did this recently and was amazed and heartened!
Leave relevant comments on blogs you read (like this one)
Link to other good blogs, both in your posts and your blogroll
Join a relevant blog circle
I hope these are of some help!
