Faith in Focus talk
At Carlisle Place this evening for a talk in the summer series of Faith in Focus. This is a group for young adults living or working in London, run by the Faith Movement. I have been involved in Faith since it was founded by Fr Nesbitt and Fr Holloway when I was at school. The primary focus of the Faith Movement is to offer a new synthesis of science and orthodox Catholicism and to show that the natural sciences give us a path to God.
Tonight's talk was not central to this particular theme but offered a reflection particularly on the nature of the Liturgy according to the teaching of Vatican II, and the consequences of that teaching for our participation in the Liturgy, especially of the Mass. You can download a copy of the talk if you are interested.
