Therefore every scribe who has been trained for the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of his treasure what is new and what is old.
Jackie Parkes has the text of an article by Fr Guy Nichols in the Oratory Bulletin in her post: 'JESUS IS STILL WITH US ' & Mr Tony Blair!. It is an excellent short critique of that hackneyed question "What would Jesus have done?"

It reminds me of the time a pro-gay Bishops cleric was being interviewed on the radio and he said, " What we have to ask ourselves is: what would Jesus do? He'd ordain him" to which the presenter (who I know quite well) replied " Well, did you actually try asking Him what He`d do, because I think you`ll get a very clear answer" to which there was a bit of shuffling about, staring at feet and then more shuffling onto a different subject. It was a delicious moment. The WWJD thing is misused to justify whatever heresy needs justifying.
